House Alton is a small noble house with a known streak for teleportation magic having descended from Wevvin's line years ago.
The house rules over several towns in the land of Lithe, with branch family living as governors in towns serving the people. It is not unusual for family members to serve the greater houses as messengers or diplomats. Their bloodline is noted for having passionate members who dedicate themselves to various fields, causes or people.
The first of house Alton many years ago was Lord Gram Alton, who was a feline, with a Mask-and-Mantle coat pattern, who was born with wings. He served during the time of Queen Karena and served House Sabine. His family showed dedication over the years, serving as aides and diplomats and were eventually awarded a minor title of nobility.
The Alton name originated from the town's name and was given to the family when they received their title.
No one knows if Gram Alton is still around, but Altons have reported meeting a winged feline occasionally in their dreams.
Members of the Alton line are naturally skilled with teleportation but the process requires incredible focus and dedication to the study as teleportation can easily grow awry. Occasionally magic skips some of its members. Even so the members are known for their attention to detail and some have become bankers or accountants.
Given that the family has Wevvin's blood running in them. The bow and arrows represents their link to Wevvin and Sek, whereas the red represents passion.
The current head of the whole house is Asher Alton, a winged tuxedo cat, and he is stationed at Port Alton. He is known for having a harsh personality but rules fairly. Asher would be close to 60 winters and has fathered 3 children, the eldest whom is in line for the title of Lord Alton. Despite his age, Lord Alton is a strong fighter.
